The Tower Suites at Wynn Las Vegas has earned a Forbes Five-Star rating for six consecutive years, and the Tower Suites at Encore has received the Forbes Five-Star award in its third consecutive year in operation.

The Spa at Wynn Las Vegas and The Spa at Encore are among only four spas in Las Vegas to be recognized with Forbes Five-Star award. Previously, The Spa at Wynn Las Vegas garnered acclaim from the Forbes Travel Guide with three consecutive Four-Star award wins in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and Five-Star awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011. The Spa at Encore also received a Forbes Five-Star award in its first two years of operation in 2010 and 2011.

Wynn Macau and The Spa at Wynn Macau have been recognized as the only recipients of the Forbes Five-Star award for four consecutive years.

The Wynn Golf Club Lands on Golf Digest’s 75 Best Golf Resorts in North America List

Wynn Golf Club the Only Course in Nevada to Receive Honor

LAS VEGAS —The Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas has been named one of the 75 Best Golf Resorts in North America by Golf Digest magazine. Voted by 1,000 course-rating panelists, the golf club ranked number 21 on the list for exceptional golf, lodging, dining and service. The course, designed by Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn, is the only golf club in Nevada to earn a spot on the list.

“This is an extraordinary accomplishment for the Wynn Golf Club,” said Brian Hawthorne, director of golf for Wynn Las Vegas. “Our guests truly value the setting, amenities and the level of service we provide. The Wynn Golf Club is a stunning and unexpected course that is appealing to both the novice golfer and the accomplished player.”

The Wynn Golf Club is the only golf course connected to a resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The golf club features an 18-hole, 7,042 yard, par 70 golf course with Tifway II Hybrid Bermuda grass on the fairways and tees, and Pennlinks Bentgrass putting greens built to USGA specifications. Additionally, the course features dramatic elevations, contoured fairways, forests and various water features including a breathtaking 37-ft waterfall on the 18th hole.

The Wynn Golf Club provides a traditional clubhouse setting, complete with a lounge, men’s and women’s full-service locker rooms, pro shop, practice facility and a staff of professional caddies. Loaner Callaway golf clubs and Foot Joy shoes are also provided at no additional cost. While on the course, guests can enjoy refreshment services provided at the Tee House located adjacent to holes nine and 13. Lunch and dinner are served at The Country Club restaurant, which overlooks the 18th hole.

Wynn Las Vegas is committed to minimizing our impact on the environment.
Recycling: Resort waste is sorted off-site into recyclables
such as paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and various metals.
The hotel is aggressive with food-waste recycling initiatives
and purchasing programs to reduce unnecessary packaging.
Additionally, Wynn is implementing a composting
solution for all green flower and landscaping waste.

Energy Efficiency: Natural light is a key element in the
design of the resort, adding beauty and energy efficiency.
Wynn has energy efficient lighting in many areas and is
implementing motion sensors and automatic timers in
offices and meeting spaces. All HVAC equipment, pumps,
motors and other heavy equipment exceed efficiency
standards wherever possible.

Water Conservation: Wynn incorporated over five
acres of artificial turf, saving over 15 million gallons of
water annually. Non-potable water is used for landscaping,
and the drip irrigation system is computerized to forecast
temperature, wind and humidity levels to deliver the
minimum amount of water needed. Guest rooms feature
flow control devices in the sinks, showers and commodes.
Linens and towels are replaced only at a guest's request.
Wynn minimizes its chemical impact through organic
landscape products and biological pest control methods.

The Wynn Las Vegas is committed to reducing its environmental footprint while enhancing the health and well‐being of its guests, employees, and the surrounding community. The Wynn’s sustainability program evaluates opportunities for on‐going improvements and inventories accomplishments as
actions are implemented. This document features the highlights of the Wynn’s sustainability accomplishments.

Recycling and Source Reduction
Approximately 1,595 tons are diverted from landfill annually through a comprehensive paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum and cooking oil recycling program (based on 2009 figures).
1,300 lbs of paper are reduced annually through paperless checkout.
Toner and ink cartridges, batteries, and electronic waste are recycled.
Wood pallets are reused rather than sending them to landfill.
Unusable linens are salvaged or repaired if possible and recycled into new products.
Green suppliers and vendors are given preference, promoting sustainability beyond the Wynn’s footprint.
Electronic equipment is recycled by a certified electronic waste recycler.
Wallpaper is reclaimed during guest room remodels.

Water Efficiency
Water efficient landscaping practices conserve water through electronic sensors and controls.
Approximately 80% of guests participate in the linen reuse program.
Guestrooms are equipped with high efficiency toilets.
Filtered water stations are located around the resort to provide guests with the option to refill reusable bottles, reducing the disposal of plastic bottles.
Over 15 million gallons of water is reduced annually through installation of turf grass on a 5 acre parcel.

Energy Efficiency
Energy consumption control systems in guestrooms reduce energy use by 30%‐50% by using significantly less energy when rooms are unoccupied.
Lighting systems are programmed to automatically shut off in unoccupied areas. 300 motion detectors have been installed to date.
4.5 million kWh’s are saved annually through the use of high efficiency lamps.
Significant energy savings are achieved through the use of high efficiency elevator motors with regenerative drives.
Motion sensors shut down lights in unoccupied areas to reduce energy use in conference rooms, storage closets, etc.
Shipments sent to the resort have been decreased by 80% through strategic planning and combined shipments, reducing delivery emissions and conserving paper and packing materials.
Window glazing is installed to minimize cooling loads.
Several roofs have been resurfaced with a high reflective material to decrease heat gain which has the potential to reduce the building’s cooling load by 10‐15%.
Energy Star rated equipment is specified when available.
Gas powered golf carts are replaced with electric powered carts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Indoor Environmental Quality
A proactive indoor air quality program is in place to monitor CO2 levels to ensure an adequate amount of fresh air at the buildings at all times.
Smoking is prohibited in most areas of the resort, with designated smoking areas available, to prioritize guest’s health.
Green cleaning practices include non‐toxic cleaning chemicals and low or no VOC paints and finishes wherever possible.
A centralized dilution center for cleaning products minimizes chemicals purchased, transported, and disposed.
Wynn employee and guest health is protected through the use of low and no‐VOC paints and coatings.
Wynn employee and guest health is protected through an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program which minimizes chemical exposure.

Land Use
Organic alternatives for pest management are used.
Lakes are treated with microbes to control algae and bacteria growth, rather than using chemicals.
Land surrounding the golf courses has been restored to natural habitat conditions to reduce water use and provide habitat for wildlife.
The Wynn is in the process of becoming certified by the Audubon Society.
A comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program is employed for pest control.

Community Involvement
The Wynn is involved with many charitable organizations including Three Square, a non‐profit organization providing to food to the hungry of Southern Nevada; Meals On Wheels Association of America; and other local food banks. The Wynn donates food and employees donate time and support
to these charities.
